IN THE UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT FOR THE DISTRICT OF COLORADO Senior Judge Raymond P. Moore   Criminal Case No. 22-cr-00202-RM UNITED STATES OF AMERICA Plaintiff, v. 1. DHRUV JANI, Defendant, ORDER ALLOWING SALE OF 14-KARAT WHITE GOLD MAN'S RING AND DIRECTING THE UNITED STATES MARSHAL TO TURN OVER $468.02 IN UNITED STATES CURRENCY TO THE CLERK OF THE COURT          This matter is before the Court on the United States' Motion for Order Allowing Sale of 14-Karat White Gold Man's Ring and Directing the United States Marshal to Turn Over $468.02 in United States Currency to the Clerk of the Court (ECF No. 166). The Court having read said Motion and being fully advised in the premises finds:        The United States Marshal levied a 14-karat white gold man's ring and $468.02 in United States currency on November 20, 2023, pursuant to Writ of Execution (ECF No. 162);         Defendant Dhruv Jani was served with documents on December 1, 2023, notifying him of his right to request a hearing within twenty days and informing him how to request a hearing if he wished to do so;         No hearing has been requested and the time to do so has passed;         No further action is required to turn the $468.02 in United States currency over to the Clerk of the Court;         Allowing sale of the 14-karat white gold man's ring to proceed through Dickensheet & Associates, Inc. at its premises will likely result in a higher sale price for the ring than if it were auctioned by the United States Marshal on the Denver County Courthouse's steps:         Ordering that the 14-karat white gold man's ring may be sold by Dickensheet & Associates, Inc. at its premises, or another noticed location, comports with statutorily prescribed procedures for execution of sale.         Therefore, it is ORDERED that: The United States Marshal may sell the 14-karat white gold man's ring levied by his deputies pursuant to pursuant to Writ of execution (ECF No. 162) at public auction through Dickensheet & Associates, Inc. 's premises, or such other location as noticed pursuant to 28 U.S.C 3203(g)(1)(B)(iii)-(iv): The net proceeds of such sale, after deducting  Fees owed to Dickensheet & Associates, Inc. for sale of the ring, Total costs of $65.65 incurred by the U.S. Marshal in levying on the ring, shall be remitted to the Clerk of the Court to be applied to Defendant's criminal monetary penalties; The United States Marshal is directed to turn over to the Clerk of the Court the $468.02 in United States currency levied by his deputies pursuant o pursuant to Writ of Execution (ECF No. 162); The net proceeds from the sale of the 14-karat white gold man's ring and the $468.02 in United States currency levied by the United States Marshal shall be remitted to the Clerk of the Court by check made payable to Clerk, U.S. District Court and mailed to:                                 Clerk, U.S. District Court                                 901 19th Street, Suite A-105                                 Denver, CO 80294 and               The following information should be included on the check:                        Name of Defendant:      Dhruv Jani                        Court Number:               22-cr-00202.
